Mangrove tree planting is part of our Group’s commitment to enhance environmental sustainability by protecting coastal ecosystems, promoting biodiversity, and mitigating climate change through carbon sequestration.
In Malaysia, volunteers came together in Tanjung Piai and took a meaningful step toward decarbonisation by planting mangrove trees which are natural climate allies that sequester carbon dioxide, protect coastal areas from erosion, and support rich biodiversity.
20 mangrove trees were planted alongside 20 mangrove seedlings, with 25kg of trash collected from coastal areas as well. Every mangrove planted is an investment in a greener and more sustainable future. By restoring mangrove habitats, we contribute to healthier ecosystems that benefit both wildlife and future generations.
