Scholarship and Mentoring Programme

SMU and MaritimeONE scholarships in Singapore 

Our Group demonstrates its commitment to developing future talent through our support of scholarship initiatives such as those offered by the Singapore Management University (SMU) and the MaritimeONE Scholarship programme. 

By sponsoring scholarships and partnering with educational institutions, the Group helps nurture high-potential students, providing them with financial assistance, industry exposure, mentorship, and opportunities to build meaningful careers. 

Our involvement in the MaritimeONE Scholarship programme is particularly aligned with our strong presence in the maritime sector, helping to strengthen Singapore’s maritime talent pipeline and support the industry’s long-term growth. 

PaxOcean Education Support Programme in Indonesia

The programme was first launched in 2022 in partnership with DT Peduli to uplift promising students from underprivileged backgrounds, providing financial support and mentoring to help them thrive in both school and in life.

Now in its second batch, the programme has since supported over 50 students and engaged more than 100 parents, teachers, and community partners. More than 300 staff volunteer hours were contributed to make this programme a success, reflecting our Group’s belief that education is a powerful catalyst to nurture future leaders who will shape a better tomorrow. 

IMO’s Adopt a Ship international programme

PCL continued its support for the IMO’s Adopt a Ship international programme. In 2025, three PCL senior officers engaged with410 studentsfrom San Roque Elementary School (Laguna) in a structured 10-week ship-to-school correspondence programme. The initiative involved weekly email exchanges facilitated by teachers, allowing students to gain insights into life at sea and maritime operations directly from serving seafarers.
